Ingrown Toenail Surgery

If you have had an ingrown toenail infection more than once, we recommend permanent correction of your problem. This does require an injection to numb your toe.

You'll be able to continue normal activities, though you may not want to wear a closed shoe for a few days. Expect drainage (liquid-yellow or clear) for a few weeks. This is not pus, but a reaction to the chemicals used.

The toe will be discolored (red-pink-purple) for a few weeks and on rare occasion remain slightly discolored.
